We are seeking an experienced Roadway Project Engineer/Project Manager with 10+ years of experience to lead and manage roadway projects from conception through completion. In this role, you will oversee project teams, ensure the successful delivery of projects, and maintain strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of roadway projects, ensuring they meet technical, budgetary, and schedule requirements.
- Oversee the preparation of engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies, traffic analyses, and environmental assessments to inform project decision-making.
- Manage project teams, including assigning tasks, providing technical guidance, and ensuring quality control.
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to establish project goals, objectives, and requirements.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure project success.
- Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and updates to clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 10+ years of experience in roadway engineering, including project management experience.
- Proficiency in engineering design softwares: InRoads, OpenRoads, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation.
- Strong knowledge of roadway design principles, standards, and guidelines.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
