Scenic Project Manager - East Coast
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their scenic design needs and requirements, providing expert guidance and innovative recommendations.
- Manage the production and execution of complex scenic projects, including stage designs, themed environments, exhibition booths, and immersive installations.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and subcontractors to procure necessary materials, resources, and services.
- Oversee the setup, construction, and installation of scenic elements, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Provide technical expertise and support to project teams, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
- Conduct regular site visits and assessments to monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in scenic design and production, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Scenic Design, Theatre Production, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in scenic project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- In-depth knowledge of scenic construction techniques, materials, and technologies.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members at all levels.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
