Title: Senior Hydrogeologist - Water Resources (Mining)

Salary Range: 100,000 - 180,000

We're looking for a Senior Hydrogeologist to lead our efforts in water management, groundwater studies, and hydrogeological assessments within mining projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead hydrogeological assessments and groundwater studies for mining projects.
- Design and implement water management strategies that minimize environmental impact.
- Oversee groundwater modeling, monitoring, and field investigations.
- Collaborate with geologists, engineers, and environmental scientists to ensure effective integration of water management plans.
- Provide technical advice on dewatering, water supply, and impact mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and mining industry standards.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and project updates for internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, or Environmental Engineering (Master's preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in hydrogeology, with a focus on mining or water resources.
- Proficient in groundwater modeling software (e.g., MODFLOW, FEFLOW).
- Strong knowledge of water resource management practices in the mining industry.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work with cross-disciplinary teams.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
