As a leader in our organization, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing industrial hygiene projects, ensuring compliance, and promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Lead and manage industrial hygiene projects from conception to completion. Coordinate and supervise project teams, ensuring the successful and timely execution of deliverables.
Certifications: Hold Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), California Asbestos Consultant (CAC), or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
Experience: Possess a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in industrial hygiene, with a proven track record of successful project management.
Contaminant Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in dealing with a wide variety of contaminants, including but not limited to mold, asbestos, lead, and other hazardous substances.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with relevant regulations and ensure that projects adhere to all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including safety, environmental, and engineering professionals to achieve project objectives.
Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop effective strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
CIH, CAC, or CSP certification is highly desired.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in industrial hygiene.
Proven experience leading and managing industrial hygiene projects.
Strong knowledge of industrial hygiene regulations, standards, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
