Job Title: Senior Medical Equipment Planner
Salary: $130k - $150k
Location: Sacramento, CA or Orange County, CA (Hybrid Role)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, selection, and procurement of medical equipment for healthcare projects.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate medical equipment into facility design.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Prepare and manage equipment lists, budgets, and timelines.
- Coordinate with vendors to obtain pricing, specifications, and delivery schedules.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams throughout the project life cycle.
- Ensure that all medical equipment planning meets regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Train and mentor junior staff in medical equipment planning best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical equipment planning within a consultancy AEC firm or healthcare system.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and medical equipment planning software.
- Strong understanding of healthcare design and construction processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel to job sites and offices as needed.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Based in or willing to relocate to the Sacramento or Orange County area.
