Senior/Principal Risk and Safety Consultant
Responsibilities
- Manage small to moderate projects and independently undertake technical tasks with the project team
- Independently undertake technical tasks, including the provision of advice to the project team
- Continual improvement of work practices from experiences with moderate sized projects.
- Work on assignments of moderate complexity involving potentially conflicting requirements; identifying problems & related technical and solutions.
- Evaluate, select and apply standard techniques, principles, procedures and criteria to perform technical tasks and address differing variable situations.
- Adhere to client quality, safety and environmental procedures/standards.
- Work as part of a project team to deliver projects to scope and within time, cost and quality requirements.
- Draft elements of bids/company documents
Qualifications:
- At least 5 - 15 years' experience with risk management advisory QRA modelling services
- Engineering/master's degree in chemical engineering or equivalent
- Project management skills
- Good understanding of and experience with Singapore MHD QRA and Safety case approvals processes
- Preparation, presentation review of proposals.
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Risk modelling software (e.g. PHAST, SAFETI, Effects and Risk Curves, QGIS etc.).
