Title: Seeking a Senior or Principal Environmental Geochemist for Australia or New Zealand
Location: Can be based in Perth, Brisbane, and/or Christchurch.
We are currently seeking experienced highly skilled senior and principal environmental geochemists to join our client's team in either Perth, Brisbane, or Christchurch. Our client is an established leader in the environmental consulting industry with operations spanning across multiple countries. This role offers a unique opportunity for international talent who wish to migrate to Australia and New Zealand and embark on exciting new challenges.
Qualifications:
- A Ph.D. degree in geology, chemistry, earth sciences or related field
- At least 8 years of experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on geochemical assessments and remediation projects.
- Demonstrated expertise conducting conceptual site models (CSMs)
- Significant knowledge of remediation technologies including soil excavation/management/treatment strategies
- Proven ability leading projects successfully from design through execution phase
Skills:
- Environment - Adequate understanding about environment regulations permits concerning land contamination issues & water quality monitoring protocols etc,.
- GEOCHEMIST - Experience applying principles/concepts around solubility calculations,
- MINING - Knowledge regarding mine closure planning/site rehabilitation activities would be required.
- Proven project management experience.
- Strong attention to detail and committed to producing high quality work.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High proficiency in report writing.
