Job Title: Senior Traffic Engineer / Project Manager
Location: Dallas / Fort Worth
Qualifications:
* 10+ years relevant experience
* Licensed Texas Professional Engineer
* Proficiency in OpenRoads Designer, Synchro, MicroStation, and AutoCAD
* Previous TxDOT, NTTA, or North Central Texas Council of Governments (CTCOG) experience required
* Ability to lead and manage multiple traffic/transportation projects
Responsibilities:
* Conduct traffic engineering and planning studies, develop plans and specifications, and prepare cost estimates and project reports
* Supervise Project Engineers, EITs, and CAD technicians
* Mentor younger staff
* Manage project design schedules, budgets and scope
* Ensure project quality control
* Coordinate with the client to meet schedules and budgets
* Coordinate with all project disciplines
* Assist and sometimes lead business development efforts to identify, pursue and win new work for the office and firm
* Prepare PS&E including traffic signal, signing and pavement marking, Illumination and ITS design
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range of this position is $120,000-$170,000 based on experience, and company benefits.
