Seeking a Water Resources Project Manager for our Civil Engineering Sector in Greenbelt, USA
We are excited to announce that we have an immediate opening for the position of Senior Water Resources Engineer within our esteemed civil engineering sector. Our client is looking for an experienced and dedicated individual who can lead water resources projects with finesse. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership qualities as well as extensive knowledge in planning and implementing large-scale water resource management projects.
Responsibilities:
The successful applicant shall undertake the following duties;
- Complete complex hydrologic and hydraulic analyses
- Design water resources improvements including stream restoration, dam improvements, and storm drain and stormwater management retrofits, prepare and obtain all approvals for all construction documents,
- Handle client communications,
- Manage construction observation and documentation efforts.
- Manage engineering/CAD technicians, surveyors, and sub-consultants
- Oversee preparation of construction documents.
Qualifications:
- A minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Civil Engineering from accredited institutions.
- Professional Engineering License for MD or DC
- Ability to manage project budgets while ensuring timely completion
Skills Required:
- Professional engineer's license in the state of Maryland (or the ability to obtain a Maryland license within three (3) months of hire.
- Seven (7) years of water resources experience and must be able to demonstrate intimate knowledge of and experience in the execution of water resources projects including phases of feasibility, conceptual design, construction document preparation, permitting, and construction management and documentation.
Skills Desired:
- A familiarity with permitting processes of Montgomery, Prince George's, and Howard Counties as well as the Maryland State Highway Administration and the Maryland Department of the Environment.
- Experience with any of the following: AutoCAD Civil 3D/Microsoft Project/ArcGIS
