Senior Structural Engineer - Building Design
Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer specializing in building design to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will lead structural engineering initiatives, ensuring the structural integrity, safety, and innovation of our building projects. This role requires a strong background in structural analysis, design, and project management with proficiency in Revit software.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the structural design process for building projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes.
- Perform structural analysis, calculations, and simulations using industry-standard software and tools.
- Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to develop integrated design solutions.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and review their work for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments to ensure structural integrity and quality during construction phases.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 5-10 years of progressive experience in structural engineering, specifically in building design and analysis.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Revit software for structural design and modeling is required.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven track record in managing projects and meeting deadlines.
- Experience with other structural analysis software (such as ETABS, SAP2000, or STAAD.Pro) is a plus.
