Position Overview:
As a Structural Project Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the planning, design, and construction of industrial and commercial building projects. The ideal candidate will have a Professional Engineer (PE) license, demonstrating their expertise in structural engineering, and a proven track record of successfully managing projects in the buildings industry.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the structural aspects of industrial and commercial building projects from conception to completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and construction professionals, to ensure project objectives are met.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess structural conditions and provide technical expertise.
- Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Review and approve design and construction documents to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of North Carolina.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering and project management in the buildings industry.
- Proven experience working on industrial and commercial building projects.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and engineering analysis tools.
