System Operator
Introduction:
We are hiring a System Operator to work for our client in Denver, Colorado. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and reliable operation of 12-hour shifts, monitoring and controlling transmission and distribution systems.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control the transmission and distribution system to ensure safe and reliable operation
- Respond to system emergencies and alarms, taking appropriate action to minimize the impact on customers
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper system operation, including maintenance, construction, and customer service
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of system operations and events
- Participate in training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and environmental standards
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of transmission and distribution systems is an asset
