We are seeking a knowledgeable Transmission Planning Engineer to join a dynamic team, focusing on stability studies, short-circuit analysis, and interconnection projects. This role requires technical expertise and hands-on experience with advanced power system tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed stability studies, power flow analysis, and short-circuit evaluations.
- Utilize tools such as PSS/E or PSLF, alongside TARA and Python, to conduct comprehensive power system assessments.
- Support the evaluation and integration of new projects through interconnection studies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure grid reliability and system improvements.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and present findings to stakeholders.
What We're Looking For:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in transmission planning or a related field.
- Proficiency with PSS/E or PSLF, and familiarity with TARA.
- Experience in using Python for data analysis, modeling, and system simulations.
- Strong background in power systems analysis, focusing on stability and short-circuit studies.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
