We are currently seeking a Project Certification Manager to join our client's offshore wind team in Europe, with a primary focus on Taiwan offshore wind projects. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the successful certification and owner's engineering for offshore wind projects. Working on behalf of our client, you will collaborate with the project certification team in Europe and the inspection team globally to drive quality and compliance in all aspects of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the project certification team in Europe and the inspection team globally to establish and maintain a robust certification process for offshore wind projects.
- Lead and manage the local team in Taiwan, overseeing all project certification and owner's engineering activities.
- Provide hands-on expertise in project certification and design review, with a particular focus on site conditions, foundations, and wind turbine structures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations, particularly in the context of Taiwan offshore wind projects.
- Act as the key liaison between the project certification team, local authorities, and project stakeholders in Taiwan.
- Continuously monitor and improve the project certification process to drive efficiency and quality.
- Conduct technical assessments and site inspections as necessary to verify project compliance.
- Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and recommendations for certification and design review activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline. Master's degree is a plus.
- Extensive experience in project certification and design review for offshore wind projects, particularly in site conditions, foundations, and wind turbine structures.
- In-depth knowledge of Taiwan offshore wind projects and the associated regulatory environment is compulsory.
- Strong leadership skills and experience in leading a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Familiarity with relevant international standards and certification procedures.
