We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Utilities/Excavating Superintendent for our client, a leading General Contractor in the Heavy Civil Construction sector. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience working on projects related to underground utilities, excavation, sitework, deep sanitary systems and more.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee construction work ensuring that it is completed within budgetary constraints while also meeting project timelines.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations as well as quality standards set by the company.
- Coordinate effectively between different teams involved throughout various stages of construction including engineers/architects during planning phases through field staff during execution phase
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Experience
Candidates must possess minimum five (5) years' experience supervising heavy civil or utility contracting operations; extensive knowledge about managing LVI crews will be considered favorably
Education
High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory
Certificates/Licenses
Valid Driver's License essential;
OSHA certifications desired
