With almost 20 years in the solar industry, one of my clients is looking to bring on a Vice President of Construction to head up their construction team. This IPP not only originates and acquires clean-energy projects throughout the United States they also develop, finance, and construct these sites. As a leading owner and operator of commercial, industrial, small-utility, and community solar projects they are looking to bring on an experienced leader who can hit the ground running!
A few responsibilities...
- Oversee all phases of C&I rooftop construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Ensure smooth hand off of completed, retained projects to Asset Management team.
- Recruit, train, engage and develop a diverse team of construction professional
- Develop and manage budgets for C&I rooftop solar projects to ensure financial targets are met.
Some of the qualifications...
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in construction management
- Minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing C&I rooftop projects.
- OSHA certification
- PMP or similar project management certification is preferred.
