Job Summary: My client is seeking an experienced and driven Sales Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and supporting customers in their application of membrane technologies, including reverse osmosis (RO), nanofiltration (NF), and ultrafiltration (UF) systems. You will work closely with municipal, industrial, and OEM clients to understand their needs and provide customized solutions, driving business development across various water and wastewater treatment markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within assigned territories and industries, focusing on water treatment and reuse projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, including municipalities, industrial facilities, OEMs, and engineering firms.
- Provide technical expertise and support to customers, helping them understand membrane technologies and selecting the best solutions for their applications.
- Develop and deliver presentations and proposals tailored to customer needs.
- Prepare and negotiate contracts, ensuring all client requirements are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, customer service) to address customer inquiries and technical challenges.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, competitors, and market developments to identify growth opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote membrane technologies and generate new leads.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the water treatment industry, specifically working with municipalities or industrial facilities.
- Knowledge of water treatment plant operations, design processes, and relevant industry regulations.
- Previous experience working with OEMs and engineering firms in the water treatment field.
