We have partnered with an international leading consultancy firm that services water infrastructure, drainage, transportation, and development for public agencies. This firm is reputable for working together to help the community's goals and the ability to support their employees and have a direct impact to local communities.
This firm is looking for an experienced engineer who can lead the their water business in Georgia. This Water Practice Leader's responsibilities will be building and leading the office and growing and developing relationships with key clients to grow market presence.
Responsibilities:
- Be able to develop, maintain, and implement business development, and operational plans for the water practice.
- Build relationships with new clients throughout the Georgia area and the work needed to earn their business and to be able to maintain them as a client.
- Be able to support community and business organisational involvement within the market.
- Attend/organise staff to attend industry events and government meetings.
- Maintaining the water practice staff - responsible for feasibility, design, and construction administration of water wastewater projects.
- Prioritise project assignments and staffing.
- Responsible for hiring, mentoring, training, and directing staff.
- Assist the team with resolving complex projects.
- Set goals, monitor work, and evaluate results to ensure objectives are met.
Requirements:
- BSc in Civil Engineering or relevant degree
- PE License in GA
- Minimum 10 years of experience in water infrastructure.
- Has business development and client relationships in Georgia.
- Experience in managing an office or division.
- Experience in complex water/wastewater facilities or pipeline projects
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills - required to build relationships with clients and team members.
