Job Title: Water Resources Project Manager
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Water Resources Project Manager with at least 8 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing complex water-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage water resources projects from initiation to completion, including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to gather data, identify constraints, and develop solutions.
- Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and safety protocols.
- Mentor and coach junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with business development team to identify new project opportunities and prepare proposals.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in water resources management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in water resources management, with a focus on project management.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
- Strong technical skills in hydraulic modeling, water quality analysis, and stormwater management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working with regulatory agencies and knowledge of environmental permitting processes.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.).
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to mentor and develop staff.
