Water Resources Project Manager Needed in Prince George's County
Our client, a leading water resources company is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Water Resources Project Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 10-30 years of experience working within the water sector with expertise in designing water resources improvements including stream restorations, dam improvements, storm drain, stormwater management retrofits, and erosion and sediment control
Qualifications:
PE License - A valid PE license is required for this position in Maryland
AutoCAD Civil 3D Experience - Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D software or equivalent design tools.
ArcGIS Proficiency - Ability to manipulate data using ArcGIS mapping technology
Client Communication Skills - Excellent communication skills are needed as you'll be responsible for liaising between clients on various projects.
Management Experience - Previous management/supervisory experience preferred but not required.
Skills & Responsibilities:
SWM Management - Stormwater management planning which includes designing BMPs (Best Management Practices) that minimize polluted runoff into streams/rivers etc., permit applications/processing related activities associated with stormwater discharge permits from local/state/federal agencies i.e EPA Clean Water Act requirements
Drainage Designing capability - Developing drainage designs including culverts/cross drains/gutters/pipes/etc based on project specifications codes standards,
Ability to analyze hydrological factors such as precipitation rates/duration/intensity/timing frequency distribution curves/travel times while ensuring hydraulic calculations like open channel flow/hydrologic routing /culvert sizing/design flows do not exceed capacities
Stream Restoration techniques knowledge - Expertise regarding natural systems' processes assessment/stream morphology evaluation/restoration strategies implementation including bioengineering/natural channel design/stabilization practices/effective erosion control measures/Sediment Transport analysis methodologies
Salary Offered: $100k-$150k per year
Location: This role requires relocation or currently living within Maryland
