Water/Wastewater Engineer - Kansas City - $115,000-$140,000 (REMOTE)

This opportunity is possible as remote (from within either Kansas or Missouri) where a highly technically capable engineer who works well under their own steam would be well suited.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher qualification within Civil Engineering discipline.
- Extensive technical experience (10+ years) leading the design of large-scale municipal/public works related to drinking/freshwater treatment facilities & distribution systems; wastewater collection/treatment plants & conveyance systems; pump stations; lift stations; storage facilities; etc.
- PE License in state of Kansas/Missouri or the ability to obtain one within 6 months
Responsibilities:
- Manage complex water/wastewater infrastructure projects from inception through completion
- Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules with clients
- Lead multidisciplinary teams including design engineers and support staff
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations regarding environmental standards
- Mentorship of junior engineers to boost their technical capabilities
