Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead and manage complex water and wastewater projects in Indiana, with a focus on the Evansville area. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a proven track record of successful project delivery, and the ability to oversee project teams. This role involves managing the planning, design, development, and implementation of water and wastewater treatment systems, pipelines, pumping stations, and related infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of water and wastewater projects from concept to completion.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with all applicable standards and regulations.
- Oversee the preparation of technical reports, specifications, and construction documents.
- Provide leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring high-quality project delivery.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and ensure quality control.
- Review and approve engineering designs, calculations, and documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in water and wastewater project management.
- Participate in business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and support staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in water and wastewater project management, with a focus on design and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, hydraulics, and infrastructure design.
- Proficient in relevant project management and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations related to water and wastewater systems.
