Project Engineer
My client has an opening for an experienced professional engineer with a background in water/wastewater or water resources engineering. The ideal candidate will possess both technical expertise and leadership skills or potential to effectively manage a range of water resources projects.
The successful candidate will oversee and lead project teams in planning and designing water-related infrastructure projects, as well as play a key role in managing client relationships. This position also involves participation in strategic initiatives to drive the growth of their water/wastewater group, both locally in Pennsylvania and nationally. The role offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement with occasional travel as needed to meet client requirements.
Location
This role will follow a hybrid work schedule, based at any of my client's Pennsylvania region offices, including King of Prussia, Pottsville, or Wilkes-Barre, PA.
The Impact You Will Make
- Recognize and develop design needs
- Perform complex analyses
- Review and approve basic design calculations and layout drawings
- Design project elements and coordinate with other disciplines
- Understand specifications, cost estimates, and payment processes
- Take responsibility for design calculation files, ensuring independent quality control reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field required.
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in water resources, drinking water, and/or wastewater projects.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Pennsylvania.
- Developing creativity and judgment in engineering applications.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
