The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the design of water facilities. This role involves working on a variety of projects, from water treatment plants to distribution systems, ensuring they meet regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Create detailed designs for water treatment plants, distribution systems, and other water facilities using advanced engineering software.
- Project Management: Lead and manage water facility projects from conception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including environmental engineers, construction managers, and regulatory agencies.
- Innovation: Stay current with emerging technologies and methodologies in water facilities engineering and integrate them into our projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering (or a related field).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in water facilities engineering.
- Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, WaterCAD).
- Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, hydraulics, and pipeline design.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
