Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Water/Wastewater Technical Lead to join our dynamic team in Columbus, Ohio. As the Technical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing water and wastewater projects, ensuring the successful delivery of innovative solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Lead and manage water and wastewater projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with client expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate project activities and ensure seamless execution.
Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical leadership in the design and implementation of water and wastewater treatment systems, pump stations, and distribution/collection systems.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to incorporate best practices into project designs.
Client Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and goals, providing expert guidance and tailored solutions.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations governing water and wastewater treatment.
- Stay informed about changes in regulations and proactively incorporate compliance measures into project plans.
Team Leadership:
- Mentor and guide a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and professional development initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering; Master's degree is a plus.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Ohio.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, regulations, and design standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
