About the Role:
As a Design Engineer, you'll design and develop water treatment systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, leverage AEC technologies, and contribute to impactful projects that benefit communities nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and oversee water treatment system plans and processes.
- Collaborate with teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Use advanced AEC technology to optimise designs.
- Ensure compliance with water treatment industry standards and regulations.
- Prepare technical documentation, including reports, specifications, and plans.
What You'll Bring:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in design engineering, particularly in water treatment.
- Proficiency with AEC technologies and water treatment design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, etc.).
- Strong understanding of water treatment regulations and best practices.
- Ability to solve complex engineering challenges and work within multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering (or related field).
- PE (Professional Engineer) License preferred, or the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
- Expertise in water treatment design, hydraulic analysis, and modelling.
- Familiarity with environmental compliance (e.g., EPA standards, state regulations).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
