About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will provide inspection services, troubleshooting, and repairs for our specialized equipment. You will assist customers with equipment malfunctions over the phone, perform paid inspections, upgrades, and sell maintenance parts based on customer needs. Additionally, you will prepare estimates and work reports for all service activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs for specialized equipment.
- Provide remote assistance to customers experiencing equipment malfunctions.
- Perform paid inspections, upgrades, and sell maintenance parts according to customer requirements.
- Prepare estimates and detailed work reports for all service activities.
- Maintain strong communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Drive long distances to service equipment at various locations.
Qualifications:
- Background in engineering (electrical, electronic, mechanical).
- Experience as a field engineer service for medical equipment, pharmaceutical, chemical engineering, or related products such as Liquid chromatograph or Mass analyzer
- Fluent business Japanese (JLPT N1 or native level); Comfortable using English in a professional setting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with customers.
- Valid regular car driver's license.
- Degree in chemistry, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field from a university or technical college.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to drive long distances comfortably.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
