About the Role

As the Geotechnical Department Manager, you will:

  • Lead the establishment of a new office in Tampa, including hiring and mentoring staff.
  • Serve as the face of the firm to clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of public and private sector projects, including:
    • Shallow and deep foundation design
    • Vertical and horizontal infrastructure
    • High-rises, stadiums, and transportation projects (DOT and private)

Requirements

  • 7+ years of geotechnical engineering experience
  • Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Florida
  • Strong technical background across a broad range of geotechnical scopes
  • Eagerness to lead in a management role while remaining client-facing is a strong plus
