Position Summary:
LVI is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Land Development Project Manager to lead and manage complex land development projects from concept through completion. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep knowledge of civil engineering, permitting processes, and project management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments on time and within budget.
Requirements:
- BSc in Civil Engineering
- P.E License
- Minimum of 8+ years in land development (residential or commercial development).
- Strong knowledge of zoning, permitting, and entitlement processes.
- Proficiency in project management tools and civil design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D).
- Has client interaction and business development experience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all phases of land development projects, including planning, design, permitting, budgeting, and construction oversight.
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and government agencies to ensure project milestones are met.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and scopes of work.
- Oversee due diligence, feasibility studies, and site assessments.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Review and approve engineering plans, plats, and construction documents.
- Mentor junior staff and provide leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
- Conduct business development.
