About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a well-established, design-driven architecture firm seeking an experienced Project Architect to join their growing Minneapolis team. This firm is known for delivering thoughtful, high-quality design solutions across a diverse portfolio of project types and scales.

This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed architect (or actively pursuing licensure) who enjoys balancing technical execution, design leadership, and team collaboration.


The Role

As a Project Architect, you will play a critical role in leading projects from concept through construction. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, and consultants to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest design standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead architectural design and technical development across all project phases
  • Produce and coordinate construction documents and specifications
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and multidisciplinary consultants
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and external partners
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and project requirements
  • Provide construction administration support, including RFIs, submittals, and site observations
  • Mentor and support junior team members

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
  • 7-12+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Licensed Architect (or actively pursuing licensure)
  • Strong proficiency in Revit (required); familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
  • Demonstrated experience delivering commercial, institutional, or mixed-use projects
  • Strong understanding of construction documentation, detailing, and building systems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
