SUMMARY

Currently seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler with the ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. The ideal candidate is flexible, resourceful, proactive, and operates with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

The Senior Scheduling Engineer will oversee all planning and scheduling activities across the project lifecycle.

Location: Pampa, Texas
This is a site-based role. Candidates must be willing to travel as required and work on-site full time.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide oversight of all planning and scheduling activities
  • Plan, coordinate, supervise, and direct scheduling efforts across the project
  • Ensure scheduling standards are implemented and maintained across all activities
  • Lead and mentor the scheduling team
  • Coach and develop field personnel, forepersons, and assistant superintendents
  • Build a strong, team-oriented culture on site
  • Ensure crews have the resources and support to succeed
  • Provide performance feedback and support career development
  • Support hiring decisions and workforce planning as needed
  • Develop future leaders through mentorship and structured opportunities
  • Champion and enforce a zero-injury safety culture
  • Manage union and open shop environments effectively
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, and stakeholders
  • Optimize site logistics and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Perform additional duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of construction experience or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Project engineer experience preferred
  • Strong communication and active listening skills
  • Comfortable working across diverse teams and functions
  • Willingness to travel and be on-site as required
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling principles and construction sequencing
  • Ability to solve complex project challenges with sound judgment
  • Strong plan and specification interpretation skills
  • Working knowledge of project management and contract processes
  • Familiarity with 4D planning methodologies
  • Strong organizational and collaboration skills
  • Basic understanding of cost and resource-loaded schedules
  • Knowledge of claims avoidance and resolution techniques
  • Analytical and proactive problem-solving mindset
  • Results-driven with strong attention to detail
