Job Title: Assistant Project Manager - Construction
Location: Dallas, TX
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $60,000 - $85,000 (depending on experience)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support our construction management team in delivering high-quality commercial and residential projects across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The APM will assist in all phases of the construction process, from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects.
Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships, including procurement and scheduling.
Track project progress, budgets, and timelines using project management software.
Prepare and process RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project documentation.
Attend and document project meetings, including coordination and safety meetings.
Support quality control and ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Help maintain accurate project records and assist with project closeout procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
2+ years of experience in construction project coordination or management.
Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and budgeting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar software is a plus.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
