Senior Structural Engineer - Bridge Design

A respected transportation engineering consulting firm is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join its growing bridge team in New York. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of bridge design, rehabilitation, and inspection projects while contributing to the delivery of critical transportation infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Lead and support bridge design, analysis, and rehabilitation projects.
Prepare and review construction plans, specifications, and technical reports.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
Review contractor submittals, RFIs, and engineering deliverables.
Conduct site visits and support construction-related activities.
Assist with proposal development and business growth initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
7+ years of bridge and structural engineering experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain licensure.
Experience with bridge design, structural analysis, and rehabilitation projects.
Familiarity with NYSDOT standards is highly desirable.
Experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD, CSiBridge, MIDAS, or similar software is a plus.
