A reputable heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead sitework and infrastructure projects in the Sterling, VA area. This role oversees project delivery from planning through closeout with a focus on safety, quality, schedule, and budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage planning, scheduling, budgeting, and daily project execution
- Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Maintain project schedules, cost tracking, and documentation
- Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
- Review plans, specifications, and technical documents
- Lead meetings and communicate with stakeholders
- Oversee RFIs, submittals, and change management
Qualifications
- 5+ years of heavy civil project management experience
- Background in site development, utilities, grading, or roadwork
- Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred
- Strong scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration skills
- Proficiency with project management tools (Procore, HCSS, MS Project)
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
