What You'll Do
As a CMET Project Manager, you will lead end-to-end project delivery while playing a key role in technical excellence and business growth:
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Manage construction materials testing programs across a wide range of projects (roads, structures, public infrastructure, and private developments)
- Oversee the full project lifecycle: scoping, proposal development, execution, and reporting
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards
Technical Excellence
- Apply deep expertise in field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt (HMA), and steel
- Oversee laboratory testing programs and ensure compliance with relevant standards and specifications
- Provide technical guidance and quality assurance across projects
Team Leadership & Mentoring
- Lead, mentor, and develop junior engineers and technical staff
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture
- Support career growth and technical development within your team
Client & Business Development
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across public and private sectors
- Identify new opportunities and contribute to business development initiatives
- Prepare winning proposals and represent the organization in client engagements
What You Bring
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- 8+ years of experience in:
- Geotechnical engineering
- Construction materials testing (CMT)
- Project engineering or related fields
- Strong expertise in:
- Field testing procedures for soil, concrete, asphalt, and steel
- Laboratory testing methods and quality control
- Proven experience managing projects, clients, and budgets
- Demonstrated success in mentoring engineers and leading teams
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
