Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations on large‑scale commercial and industrial electrical projects throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who excels at coordinating crews, maintaining high-quality installations, driving schedules, and ensuring jobsites operate safely and efficiently.
You will be the key field leader who ensures projects run smoothly-on time, within budget, and with exceptional workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Field Management
- Direct, supervise, and mentor electricians, foremen, and field crews
- Coordinate daily onsite activities and manpower to meet project goals
- Ensure installation methods meet NEC codes, project specifications, and quality standards
- Collaborate with Project Managers on scheduling, planning, and sequencing of work
Project Execution
- Oversee all onsite electrical construction activities
- Conduct daily jobsite meetings and toolbox talks
- Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
- Identify and resolve field issues quickly to avoid delays
- Coordinate with General Contractors, engineers, inspectors, and other trades
Safety & Quality Assurance
- Enforce all company and OSHA safety policies across the jobsite
- Conduct regular safety inspections and corrective-action follow‑ups
- Ensure high-quality workmanship through continuous field reviews
Documentation & Reporting
- Track progress, material usage, productivity, and labor hours
- Provide daily or weekly reports to the Project Manager
- Assist with field changes, RFIs, and material requests
- Support QA/QC processes and help prepare closeout documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of electrical field experience, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or superintendent role
- Strong background in commercial, industrial, or mission‑critical electrical projects
- Extensive knowledge of NEC, electrical systems, and installation practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, one‑lines, and schematics
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple crews in a fast-paced Dallas market
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar tools is a plus
Preferred (Not Required)
- Journeyman or Master Electrician License (Texas)
- Experience with large ground-up projects or design-build environments
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is beneficial but not required
