Job Title: Project Architect / Project Manager

Location: Charlotte, NC
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000


Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented and driven Project Architect/Manager to join our Charlotte-based team. This role is ideal for a design professional with strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a passion for delivering high-quality architectural solutions. While architectural licensure is preferred, it is not required for this position.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead architectural projects from concept through construction, ensuring design excellence and technical accuracy.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Oversee the production of construction documents and specifications.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Participate in client presentations, design reviews, and site visits.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative studio culture.

Qualifications:

  • Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
  • 6+ years of experience in architectural design and project management.
  • Architectural license preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other design tools (e.g., SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong understanding of building systems, construction methods, and code compliance.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with public sector or institutional projects is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • LEED Accreditation or interest in sustainable design.
  • Familiarity with design-build and fast-track project delivery methods.
  • Experience working with local jurisdictions and permitting processes in North Carolina.
