Job Title: Project Architect / Project Manager
Location: Charlotte, NC
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000
Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented and driven Project Architect/Manager to join our Charlotte-based team. This role is ideal for a design professional with strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a passion for delivering high-quality architectural solutions. While architectural licensure is preferred, it is not required for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead architectural projects from concept through construction, ensuring design excellence and technical accuracy.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Oversee the production of construction documents and specifications.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Participate in client presentations, design reviews, and site visits.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative studio culture.
Qualifications:
- Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
- 6+ years of experience in architectural design and project management.
- Architectural license preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other design tools (e.g., SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong understanding of building systems, construction methods, and code compliance.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Experience with public sector or institutional projects is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- LEED Accreditation or interest in sustainable design.
- Familiarity with design-build and fast-track project delivery methods.
- Experience working with local jurisdictions and permitting processes in North Carolina.
