Senior Electrical Engineer - REMOTE IN NC

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our North Carolina-based team, with the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the state. This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful projects while maintaining work-life flexibility within a supportive and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the electrical design and engineering of projects from concept through construction
Collaborate with other disciplines to deliver fully integrated solutions
Prepare construction documents and specifications using Revit and AutoCAD
Conduct site visits and field assessments as needed
Ensure technical quality and compliance with codes and client standards
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
Interface with clients to ensure project alignment and successful delivery
Support project management tasks including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
10+ years of experience in electrical engineering for buildings (power, lighting, systems)
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in North Carolina
Proficiency in Revit is required; experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar platforms preferred
Strong knowledge of the NEC and applicable local codes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote role while staying highly collaborative
Experience with client interaction and project leadership is a strong plus
