Responsibilities
As the Water Resources Senior Project Manager, you will lead the firm's water resources practice within the region. In a seller-doer capacity, you will build strong relationships with municipal and public‑sector clients, guiding them from project development through final delivery. You will join a team with an established backlog of water‑related projects, with opportunities to collaborate with current staff as well as mentor and grow your own team.
This role requires professional leadership, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of water resources engineering. Project types may include:
- Watershed planning and hydrologic studies
- Stormwater system design and flood mitigation projects
- Green infrastructure and low-impact development (LID)
- Stream restoration and riverbank stabilization
- Stormwater master planning
- Hydraulic and hydrologic modeling
- Water quality analysis and compliance
- Resilience planning and climate adaptation strategies
- Permitting and coordination with regulatory agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or related field
- 15+ years of experience in water resources engineering, including at least 3 years managing projects and/or personnel
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Valid driver's license
