Superintendent - Multifamily

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Multifamily Superintendent to oversee on-site construction activities for multifamily residential projects in Augusta. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ground-up multifamily construction, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily construction operations on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to specification.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to maintain project schedules and quality standards.
  • Monitor site safety and enforce compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
  • Conduct daily site inspections and maintain detailed project documentation.
  • Communicate regularly with the Project Manager regarding progress, issues, and solutions.
  • Manage material deliveries, equipment usage, and site logistics.
  • Ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and building codes.
  • Lead weekly subcontractor meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in multifamily or commercial construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend).
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with garden-style, podium, or mid-rise multifamily projects.
  • Familiarity with Augusta building codes and permitting processes.
  • OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training.
