Superintendent - Multifamily
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Multifamily Superintendent to oversee on-site construction activities for multifamily residential projects in Augusta. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ground-up multifamily construction, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily construction operations on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to specification.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to maintain project schedules and quality standards.
- Monitor site safety and enforce compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
- Conduct daily site inspections and maintain detailed project documentation.
- Communicate regularly with the Project Manager regarding progress, issues, and solutions.
- Manage material deliveries, equipment usage, and site logistics.
- Ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and building codes.
- Lead weekly subcontractor meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in multifamily or commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend).
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with garden-style, podium, or mid-rise multifamily projects.
- Familiarity with Augusta building codes and permitting processes.
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training.
