Sales Manager - Asia
Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive business development and sales growth across the Asia region. The role focuses on building a strong pipeline, managing client relationships, and achieving annual sales targets in the environmental and renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop sales leads for system solutions and capital projects.
- Manage client relationships from initial contact through contract execution.
- Develop market penetration strategies and refresh marketing efforts.
- Generate leads through outreach, including cold calls.
- Maintain and grow a robust sales network and customer base.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.
- Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring compliance and safety standards.
- Represent the company at industry events and collect market intelligence.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of sales/business development experience in Asia within environmental services, waste management, renewable energy, or related industries.
- Strong technical understanding of wastewater, biogas, anaerobic digestion, and renewable energy processes.
- Excellent negotiation, networking, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and adaptability to digital tools.
- Fluency in English; additional regional languages are an advantage.
Preferred Competencies:
- Knowledge of plant design, project costing, budgeting, and ROI analysis.
- Familiarity with regional regulations and compliance standards.
