What You'll Do
- Oversee all sales, revenue generation, and market development efforts across the Great Lakes region.
- Review, approve, and support design‑build geotechnical ground‑improvement solutions.
- Partner with regional engineers and licensees to develop and execute revenue‑driven strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5-6 Region Engineers, focusing on technical capability and professional growth.
- Build and implement tailored training programs for engineering and technical teams.
- Provide technical support to licensee engineering groups, including design review, troubleshooting, and oversight.
- Develop pricing strategies, pursuit approaches, and competitive positioning for high‑visibility projects.
- Contribute to new system development, technical documentation, and commercial material creation.
- Prepare and support technical sales proposals and client‑facing documentation.
- Oversee internal and external R&D initiatives to improve systems, methods, and engineering output.
- Travel regionally to support promotional activities, engineering alignment, and client engagement.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external engineers to ensure successful feasibility assessments and competitive project bids.
What You'll Need
- Minimum 5 years' experience in geotechnical engineering, construction management, or related technical fields.
- Strong ability to build relationships and manage cross‑functional collaboration.
- Demonstrated analytical ability to understand market movements, anticipate regional needs, and support strategic decision‑making.
- Deep understanding of soil mechanics, ground‑improvement behavior, and foundation system performance.
- Proven leadership skills within technical, engineering, or sales‑engineering environments.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (required).
- Master's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
