Building Enclosure Consultant - Remote

- Engineering Division: Offers full-service structural engineering, thermal analysis, and delegated design for curtain walls, cladding systems, and architectural components.

Role Overview
As a Building Envelope Consultant, you will play a key role in the design, evaluation, and rehabilitation of building enclosure systems. You'll collaborate with architects, developers, and contractors to ensure high-performance, code-compliant, and sustainable envelope solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct condition assessments and forensic investigations of building envelope systems.
- Review architectural and structural drawings for constructability and compliance.
- Provide technical consulting on curtain walls, cladding, roofing, and waterproofing systems.
- Develop schematic designs, specifications, and construction documents.
- Participate in field testing, mock-up reviews, and quality assurance processes.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Education & Qualifications
- Degree in Architecture, Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in building envelope consulting or facade engineering.
- Familiarity with thermal analysis, waterproofing, and cladding systems.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Preferred certifications: EIT, PE, RA, LEED AP, RRO/RRC/RWC.
