CHICAGO | Bridge Engineer
A nationally recognized engineering firm with over 110 years of history is seeking a Bridge Engineer to join its team in Illinois. This firm is ranked among the Top 500 Design Firms and has been named a Best Place to Work. In this role, you'll contribute to the design and delivery of transportation infrastructure projects including bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and sign structures. You'll work alongside a collaborative team of engineers and planners to develop solutions that serve city, regional, and state clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and draft structural plans and details
- Create and analyze 3D models
- Perform structural computations and analysis
- Prepare quantity calculations and cost estimates
- Participate in design meetings and field visits
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- EIT certification preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Experience with CADD (MicroStation/OpenBridge/OpenRoads preferred)
- Familiarity with 3D modeling is a plus
