The firm is seeking a Project Architect to join its Commercial practice. This role involves working alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive design and technical solutions on a variety of large-scale commercial projects. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to take on increased responsibility within a team-focused environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and integrate architectural and consultant construction documents, including markups, detail reviews, quality assurance/quality control processes, and consultant collaboration
  • Develop creative and functional design solutions aligned with project goals and constraints
  • Translate design concepts into visual representations and technical documentation
  • Prepare and finalize construction documents and detailed technical solutions
  • Support the development and management of project schedules
  • Present technical design solutions to clients and project stakeholders
  • Assist in guiding project team members by leveraging strengths and providing mentorship
  • Work collaboratively with project leadership to resolve conflicts between design intent, technical requirements, and project objectives
  • Apply industry standards, building codes, and best practices to all phases of the project
  • Demonstrate knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and timelines
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies, materials, and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in client presentations and project meetings
  • Support client relationship management and project communication

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or professional degree in Architecture from an accredited program or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial architecture
  • Experience working on large-scale commercial projects or supporting large, multidisciplinary teams required
  • Professional licensure or progress toward licensure preferred
  • Strong commitment to quality assurance and quality control standards
  • Solid understanding of construction documentation and drawing set organization
  • Knowledge of building systems, detailing, and constructability principles
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse project teams and contribute to team leadership
  • Experience supporting client interactions, presentations, and project delivery
  • Strengths in conceptual design, planning, and technical development
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Revit strongly preferred; familiarity with other 3D modeling tools is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience across all phases of design documentation, construction administration, and consultant coordination
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Flexible and adaptable mindset

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position requiring attendance at the designated office location during standard business hours, Monday through Friday. Reliable in-office presence is a core requirement of the role.
