The Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for…
- Assisting in the testing, startup, and commissioning of low and medium voltage electrical distribution systems
- Supporting the preparation and review of commissioning plans, electrical sketches, and data sheets
- Conducting routine electrical calculations and assisting with technical documentation
- Reviewing supplier documentation to verify compliance with project specifications
- Participating in field and manufacturing environment testing of equipment such as switchgear, transformers, breakers, and control systems
- Collaborating with senior engineers to ensure project quality, safety, and successful delivery
The Commissioning Engineer should have the following…
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience
- Foundational knowledge of electrical systems including switchgear, transformers, relays, UPS systems, and power distribution
- Familiarity with commissioning, inspection, and testing processes
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Willingness to travel locally and nationally as required
