Position Overview

The Project Manager reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for the planning, execution, and oversight of marine construction and dredging projects. This role ensures that projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise project teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and safety standards.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, estimates, and cost control measures.
  • Prepare and review project submittals and documentation.
  • Plan and implement construction operations, including scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Source and coordinate equipment and material deliveries.
  • Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in marine and/or heavy civil construction management.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline (preferred).
  • Proficiency in CPM scheduling and HCSS estimating software (preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion.
