Title: Director of Strategic Accounts

Salary: $100,000 - 150,000

My client is a leading energy management and consulting firm dedicated to helping organizations navigate the complexities of energy supply, demand, and infrastructure. They deliver innovative solutions that drive financial and operational improvements while supporting sustainability goals.

The Director, Strategic Accounts will be responsible for:

  • Driving new business development within municipalities, universities, schools, and hospitals (MUSH) across the Southeast and Eastern U.S.

  • Building and managing a strong pipeline through proactive outreach and relationship development.

  • Advising clients on energy procurement, distributed generation, storage, and grid infrastructure solutions.

  • Managing the full sales cycle from discovery to negotiation and closing.

  • Collaborating with internal technical teams to deliver tailored solutions.

The Director, Strategic Accounts should have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree and 7-10+ years of experience engaging public-sector or cooperative customers in an energy-related capacity.

  • Proven success in direct sales or complex solution selling within regulated and deregulated electricity markets.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage long sales cycles.

  • Familiarity with Southeast and Eastern U.S. energy markets and an established network in the MUSH vertical.
