Role Overview
As part of the Electrical Engineering team, you'll support the design and delivery of electrical systems for water and wastewater projects. You'll work with multidisciplinary teams to develop one-line diagrams, schematics, lighting layouts, installation details, and technical specifications. Responsibilities include equipment selection, engineering calculations, and support for energy optimization, arc flash analysis, and power system coordination. You'll also assist with construction-phase services and site inspections.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop electrical designs and technical documentation
- Conduct system studies and reliability assessments
- Collaborate with internal teams and external clients
- Mentor junior staff and ensure compliance with codes and standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 1-5 years of relevant design experience, ideally in water/wastewater
- Familiarity with SKM, ETAP, or similar analysis tools
- EIT certification preferred; PE license pursuit encouraged
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
Preferred Experience
- Consulting experience in municipal or industrial infrastructure
- Exposure to construction administration and field engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software
